The Invisalign technique is an innovative method from the USA, which is able to gently and comfortably correct misaligned teeth in adults and children and adolescents with almost invisible and removable braces to an aesthetically ideal tooth position.
Invisalign® therapy consists of a series of individually manufactured high-precision plastic splints (aligners), which remain almost invisible and thus inconspicuous due to their graceful, clear design.
Using the latest computer technology, the desired treatment result is simulated on the computer. Then we orthodontists plan the number of intermediate steps to gently move teeth into the desired position. Depending on the degree of difficulty, the patient receives 12-50 clear splints.
After every two weeks of wearing, the patient changes the splint, which should be worn for about 20 hours a day.
The aligners are almost invisible. From a distance of just 50 cm, the treatment splint is practically invisible in the mouth. Unlike a fixed appliance with brackets and wires, the patient can remove the splint to eat or care for the teeth.
